Why I Started eamonnseo.com (Learning SEO From Scratch)

Where I’m Coming From

For the past few years, my life has been built around structure and discipline.

I train CrossFit consistently, usually around five times a week. Alongside that, I practice around meditation diligently – studying the Satipatana and the Ananapansati Those two things have become non-negotiables for me.

They’ve helped me develop focus, consistency, and a much better relationship with my own mind.

But while I’ve built a strong foundation physically and mentally, I’ve reached a point where I want to develop a professional skill—something I can use to create opportunities, build income, and work towards a more independent future.

That’s where SEO comes in.

Why SEO?

SEO stood out to me for a few reasons.

First, it’s a skill that compounds. The work you put in today—writing, optimizing, learning—can continue to pay off over time.

Second, it’s practical. It’s not just theory—you can build something real, test it, and see what works.

And third, it aligns with how I like to approach things: consistent effort, long-term thinking, and steady improvement.

Right now, I’m studying a Level 4 Digital Marketing course, and SEO is a big part of that. But I don’t want to just learn it passively—I want to actually do it.

This site is where that happens.

What I’m Doing Here

This isn’t going to be a polished “expert” blog.

It’s going to be real.

I’ll be sharing:

  • What I’m learning about SEO (as I learn it)
  • The strategies I’m trying
  • What works, what doesn’t, and what I’d do differently
  • How I’m building this site step-by-step

At the same time, I’ll also be writing about the things I already have experience in—CrossFit, mindfulness, and discipline—because those are a big part of who I am.

Over time, I want to combine these:

  • SEO as a skill
  • Fitness and mindfulness as a lifestyle

What You Can Expect

If you’re reading this, you’re probably one of a few types of people:

  • Someone who’s also learning SEO
  • Someone interested in building a personal brand
  • Or someone who just wants to see what the process actually looks like

What you can expect from this site is simple:

  • No pretending to be an expert
  • No overcomplicated jargon
  • Just honest progress, consistent effort, and real-world application

Why I’m Starting Before I Feel Ready

There’s always a temptation to wait.

To learn more.
To prepare more.
To feel more confident.

But from my experience—in training, in meditation, and in life—that moment never really comes.

Progress comes from showing up, especially when you feel uncertain.

So instead of waiting until I “know enough,” I’m starting now.

Final Thought

Right now, this is the beginning.

The posts might not be perfect. The strategy will evolve. I’ll make mistakes.

But that’s the point.

If you follow along, you’ll see the process unfold in real time—from beginner to (hopefully) someone who actually knows what they’re doing.

And if nothing else, this site will be proof that I showed up and did the work.
